Operation Smile Mission
Bolivia
During spring 2016 a devoted team participated in a medical mission to Bolivia, marking J.W. Business Acquisitions first of many missions. The team assisted with the candidate screening process, played with the children awaiting surgery, and also provided emotional support for the families. The mission began with two screening days during which 205-plus screening took place to ensure the health of surgery candidates. Families traveled many hours by foot, bus, and car to be considered for the life-changing surgeries. A total of 138 surgeries were successfully performed during this medical mission, significantly changing the lives of the children, families, and volunteers who participated, forever. It can take less than 45 minutes and only $240 to change the life of a child in need!Looking to make a difference in a child's life?
